We are Bill and Wendy Cummins and we own Friday Creek Farm in Burlington, Washington. It was always our dream to own a small farm and raise SOMETHING there, we just didn't know what! In July 1998 we moved to the beautiful Skagit Valley in Northwest Washington. Soon after, we purchased a 1930's farmhouse on 5 acres and Friday Creek Farm was born! We added llamas to the propety in 2000 and our first Boer goats were purchased in 2002. In 2005, we began making our own goat milk soap. Soap making started as a hobby but has become an integral part of our farming business.
We are members of the ABGA (American Boer Goat Association), the CBGA (Cascade Boer Goat Association) and the NWABGC (Northwest All Breed Goat Club). In 2005, we completed Washington State University's Master Goat Farmer Program.

Goat Milk Soap
Milk has been used as a skin cleanser and natural beauty aid for centuries. We believe that everyone can enjoy the benefits of our soaps but those with sensitive skin or skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, etc.) will really appreciate how gentle they are on their skin. Goat milk is a natural moisturizer; it makes our soap creamy and gentle on your skin. Additionally, goat milk is the only milk to contain capric-caprylic triglyceride, an ester composed of combined fatty acids known to rapidly penetrate and moisturize skin.
We make our soaps the old fashioned way, in small individual batches, using the cold process method. Each 11 lb batch contains 4 pounds of raw goat milk, no water is ever added. That means each bar is approximately 35% rich, nourishing goat milk!
Only "vegetable" based oils (olive, sunflower, coconut, palm, castor, etc.) are used, no tallow or lard. All colorants are natural and plant based, no artificial colorants or dyes are ever used. Our soaps are scented with high quality essential and/or fragrance oils in small amounts. The bars are then cured for a minimum of 6 weeks which results in a mild, long lasting bar.
