Dairy Does

Our dairy does are valuable members of our herd. They provide us with colostrum to freeze for emergencies, extra milk for us, our soap making and any bottle babies AND they raise great meat kids and replacement production doelings. Our dairy "herd" currently consists of two purebred Nubians.

My-Enchanted-Acres Spryng Reign

Sire: *B My-Enchanted-Acres Zen's Reign

Dam: My-Enchanted-Acres LMO Jordyn 6*M

DOB: 3.5.2012

Reg. #: N1623505

Spryng is a beautiful purebred Nubian doe that we purchased in 2012. I have been pestering Kim at My-Enchanted-Acres about buying a black (but not a roaned black!) doe kid out of her herd for 3 years. This year, she finally had one born but she was reserved by someone else. When that sale fell through, we snapped Spryng up! We can't wait to see how she grows out and what her first freshening udder looks like.

The MME Brown Sugar

Sire: My Enchanted Acres MS Monty

Dam: My Enchanted Acres Echosalure

DOB: 2.11.2010

Sugar is a new additon to our herd in late 2014.  We were looking to add another dairy doe to our herd and found this girl at our friend's farm in Oak Harbor.  Many thanks to Ron and Arline at Stonebrier Farm for letting us bring Sugar home with us!
